Treatment Process - Contaminants

The treatment process contaminant page allows you to search for particular contaminants that have been run against the selected treatment process. Selecting a contaminant takes the user to the Contaminant / Treatment Process Summary page.

If there are fewer than 20 contaminants related to the treatment process all search functionality will be hidden. If there are over 20 contamiants you can use one of the following search options for finding a particular contaminant:

  • Search box – You are able to enter a contaminants name, CAS number, any synonyms, and the contaminant type (microbial, radiological, or chemical).  Once the information has been entered you can click the search button and all relevant results will be displayed.

  • Rolodex search – You are able to click on the letter associated to the first letter in the contaminants name and return all results for that letter.

  • Manual Search – You are able to search through the matrix of results to find a contaminant.  The matrix shows the contaminants name, CAS number, any synonyms, and the contaminant type (microbial, radiological, or chemical).
The initial page load shows ALL contaminants that have been run against the particular treatment process and lists them alphabetically by contaminant name.  Once a particular result has been found, you are able to click on the name of a contaminant to go to the Contaminant / Treatment Process Summary page.
