NOTE: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts displays the geographic extent of Clean Water Act Section 303(d) and 305(b) assessment units at 1:25,000 scale. For purposes of displaying this information in ATTAINS, the EPA conflates this geographic information to 1:100,000 scale for display. Until the EPA has finished processing the Massachusetts 1:25,000 scale data for the 2012 cycle, 2012 assessment units are being mapped using the conflated 1:100,000 scale data from the 2010 cycle. Assessment units that had changes in their geographic extent or that were newly added for the 2012 cycle will not be captured by using the 2010 geographic information.
