SEDIMENT OXYGEN DEMAND WAS IDENTIFIED AS THE MAJOR OXYGEN SINK ALONG THE IMPAIRED REACH OF THE SOURIS RIVER, AND THE CRITICAL CONDITION WAS IDENTIFIED AS WINTER MONTHS WHEN THE RE-AERATIONS IS ZERO DUE TO ICE COVER AND ALMOST NO FLOW. THE TMDL LOAD ALLOCATIONS ARE EXPRESSED AS GRAMS PER SQUARE METER PER DAY OF SOD. | ||
