The Web Registry (WR) is a centrally managed database used to collect metadata for EPA's priority web materials. EPA's search engine combines this metadata with the full text of corresponding pages and documents, in order to produce more relevant search results. This metadata is also used to dynamically generate document and web page collections, such as the Browse EPA Topics web area. |
