EMPACT |
| EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) has developed a scientific Environmental Information Management System (EIMS) that stores, manages, and delivers descriptive information (metadata) for data sets, databases, documents, models, multimedia, projects, and spatial information. |

The Environmental Monitoring for Public Access and Community Tracking (EMPACT) program represents a partnership between EPA and communities to collect, manage, and present environmental information in a timely and more meaningful manner. EMPACT projects are required to use standard data elements and register the data elements from their projects in the Environmental Data Registry (EDR) to promote consistent data collection to make information sharing easier. |

State Cleanup |
| The One Stop Reporting Program is a grant partnership between EPA and state environmental agencies to create a framework for environmental regulatory reporting using standards-based information management practices. |
